Life This October

Things have been going well recently. God has blessed me and my family. The weather has been beautiful, and my brother recently took me to Alton Towers for a day trip :)
Up at 6, like the early birds we were masquerading as.
It truly was too early. It was pitch black outside, and the birds were most definitely not singing a dawn chorus. Wiping sleep from our eyes, we tumbled into the car to collect Vicky, Chris's friend, and then onto the station to get caught up in the early morning commute, full of business people in posh suits with shiny shoes and brief cases (which I am almost certain are empty, and only there to look the part).
After a quick dive into M&S for a bag of grapes for a quid, we queued for centuries to access one of two ticket machines. Sensible really. To have only two ticket machines in a major city railway station. I can really understand there though process on that one ;)
On the train, dawn broke :) It was rather picturesque, even though we were too busy chatting and eating our breakfast to really notice...

Anyway, after a full day of G-force and hair wrecking wind speeds, we collapsed onto the Alton Towers bus. It was, naturally late, but this was alright, due to the simple fact that we had a box of jaffa cakes. They do tend to sweeten situations such as this. Anywa
y, our train got cancelled, but that too was alright, because we would have missed it anyway...

So we got onto another train, of which there are SO many, and travelled to the half way point. Here we entered a cafe, and purchased a snack. The man serving was, and this is the only nice way to put it, utterly GRUMPY. I do not care whether he had had a hard day, he still could have tried to smile, whether it came out as a wince, or a grimace, I would not have cared, if only he had tried. But no. He did not try. So I did not smile at him. That is how it works.

So all in all it was a great day :) I got wet, but there you go, it was after all, 27 degree's so I dried VERY quickly. And I returned home to tumble into my bed.

I then promptly had a nose bleed.
This is what excitement does to you.
Be warned.

Parka Passion

Winter is coming, even though its September and we're stuck in a 28 degree heatwave :)
But things need sorting out.
Important things.

Winter Coats mainly.
Problem is, the one coat I love is....
well,
how to say this.
175 pounds.

Not that much.
really...

Sports Day

Well, another sports day is over. And next year will be my last one, as the year after I will be doing work experiance! But today was fantastic! Our form overall came second, (disappointing after last years first place) and I won the girls javelin :) Sweet success.

Oh and our cheerleading squad performed! ^^ It was fun! Poms and everything, full on American delight, quite a stark contrast from the grey english weather...

Summer is coming!

God's Love Is Good

God's love is good. Everytime I look out the window, I see the things God has made for us. The world and all the beautiful things in it. And I just want to shout out to all the world that GOD IS GOOD. I want people to see how great he is. How forgiving and loving and gracious he is. And he left us the bible, so we can live by his word like him in his image. So all you out there reading this, God gave you life, forgiveness and life after death. So make sure your whole life is a thank you to him. x God bless

Our Garden ^^

You may say that Teenagers shouldn't garden. I disagree, I garden occassionally. Mainly my mum and dad do, But I still like looking at our garden. I thought I'd show you our garden. Its small, and slopped, which means no trampoline :( but many flowers :D

Well, that didn't take long :)

I have found it. The dungaree's of my dreams :D
Its from River Island :D Only problem is its quite expensive...
And I am getting new sandals.
And maybe a new watch.
oh.
WHO CARES :D We can scrimp and save ^^ make do and mend and all that jazz.
I am happy now...

Heat...

Well, Britain is in a heat wave, which has so far lasted 2 days! What a record! :D (this is what happens when you get good weather in England. We get over excited.)
SO during my hot day, I did many things.
Wrote a letter posing as Martin Luther King senior.
Sharpened a stick to stick in the ground to mark where we had spent our lunch. (it snapped)
and spent most my day thinking of things totally unrelated to what class I was sitting in. I bet my teachers love me. :)
Just checked the trusty bbc website, and found out that top temperature for today was 33 degree's celcius! So my task for this evening. To find a floral dungeree's online.

Its the simple things in life that get me excited. ^^

What a find!

So, during my many skimmings of the internet, I have found a gem amongst all the mud.
It is a treasure trove of every retro bag you could possibly imagine! All styles (especially the traditional shoulder bag) and so many patterns it literally gives you a migraine trying to process them all :D The timing of this is just so perfect. Its coming up to the end of term, and Summer is vastly approaching and that means.....
NEW BAG FOR THE NEW TERM.
Its a rule I use to make myself feel better about indulging in my passion for bags :)
